This hand-made pocket knife incorporates a precision lock-back mechanism. A Teflon washer ensures that the blade action operates smoothly and safely during opening and closing. 

This knife was handmade in Europe's capital of cutlery, "Thiers." The “Gilles®” Fontenille Pataud collection of knives are considered by many to be some of the best pocket knives money can buy. All Knives offered by Gilles are entirely made by a single craftsman from start to finish ensuring pride of ownership of the final piece., 100% Made in France.

Technical aspects: This 10.5 cm handle knife features a forged bee and a full-length hand-chiseled spring. This knife also features a solid hardened blade stop to help prevent the blade's edge from making contact with the inner area of the spring.

Ram horn tip - France

The tip of the horn is the hardest and most durable, Inferior horn handles are made from the bottom of the horn which will warp with time. 

Due to the uneven characteristic of Ram Horn, the metal rivets found on the handle may not be completely flush with this unique handle material.

How to Maintain Your Pocket Knife

Pocket Knives are designed for cutting only. Do not use it as a screwdriver, crowbar, wood chisel, as this can cause irreversible damage and void the warranty.

To keep your pocket knife in top condition, follow these maintenance tips:

  1. Lubricate Moving Parts: Periodically apply a few drops of lubricant to all moving parts. This ensures smooth operation and extends the life of your knife.
  2. Hand Wash Only: Always hand wash your pocket knife. After washing, dry it quickly with a soft towel to prevent rust and corrosion.
  3. Recommended Lubricant: We highly recommend using Sentry-Solutions Tuf Glide for all our folding knives. It provides excellent lubrication and protection.

Important Note: Tuf Glide is not considered a "food-safe" product. Avoid using it on knives that come into contact with food.

Excellent product and customer service!

I ordered three personalized knives right before Christmas because a knife was a last-minute wish for one of my sons. I called to make sure there were enough in stock and that I could get them personalized and shipped to me in a short window before Christmas. The person I spoke with was extremely helpful and responsive. She sent additional photos of the knives and assured me they would arrive by Christmas. The communication and professionalism was impressive! I was even more impressed when three beautiful one-of-a-kind gentleman's knives with personalization arrived just two days later. My sons and husband loved the knives. It was such a unique and special gift for all of them. I would highly recommend this product and company.
