In the event, that a parcel is returned to us due to an "undeliverable or invalid address" or "receiver unavailable to sign" status our original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund or billed prior to reshipment of the order. If an engraved item is returned to us we will not issue a refund under any circumstance. 

You have thirty  (30) days from the date your product is delivered to request a refund.  After that, Laguiole Imports will not process a refund request.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please note that personalized items cannot be returned and refunded unless we made a mistake.

To initiate a return, please call us at 888-899-1172 or use our contact us form. An RMA number will be assigned and provided to you for your return. The customer is responsible for return costs unless the order received we inaccurate or an engraving was not accurate.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):  

Any returned item that is not received in the original manufacturer packaging will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. 

Any item received damaged, scratched, or missing parts will not be refunded.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, you will be notified via email. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within 5 business days. Note that your refund may only show on your next statement, depending on the issuing bank and/or billing cycle. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us.

If the item were marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’d receive a gift card for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he/she will be made aware of your return.


You may return your order within 30 days of purchase; the item must be unused and returned in the original retail packaging. Engraved orders cannot be returned unless we made a mistake (incorrect location or font).

Please contact us to initiate your return and receive a prepaid shipping label. Prepaid label cost will be deducted from your original payment amount.

If you choose to return the item on your own, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot be responsible for the outcome of such shipment.
