Before the development of the Laguiole in the 19th century, French shepherds carried a knife called the "Capuchadou" (or "capujadou"). This knife was used for all daily tasks, from preparing lunch to care of their flocks of sheep.

The steak knives are the fixed version of the original folding knife and are handcrafted with the finest materials. The handles are ergonomic and perfectly balanced.
Handle Material: Mix of the following genuine wood species: ebony, walnut, boxwood, olivewood, rosewood and green oak. Note that wood grain and patterns of the actual shipped set may vary from stock photos.
This knife set is NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Please handwash & towel dry.
Construction: Blade: 2.50mm Z40C13 stainless steel. Cryogenic Heat Treated. Hardened to HRC57 for superior edge retention.
