Corsican L' Antò Classic pocket knife by Fontenille Pataud. This EDC features a clever locking blade system located on the handle. Does the Lock-Top feel "in the way" when using the knife?
No, quite the contrary, here is why. The lock-top is slightly curved to feel secure when pressed by the thumb. Additionally, the filling decoration on each side provides additional grip. 

What is the best technique you found to unlock the blade?
Although there are many ways to pull up the Lock-Top, simply sliding the thumbnail under the gap is the most efficient and safe way to unlock the blade.

How to Maintain Your Pocket Knife

Pocket Knives are designed for cutting only. Do not use it as a screwdriver, crowbar, wood chisel, as this can cause irreversible damage and void the warranty.

To keep your pocket knife in top condition, follow these maintenance tips:

  1. Lubricate Moving Parts: Periodically apply a few drops of lubricant to all moving parts. This ensures smooth operation and extends the life of your knife.
  2. Hand Wash Only: Always hand wash your pocket knife. After washing, dry it quickly with a soft towel to prevent rust and corrosion.
  3. Recommended Lubricant: We highly recommend using Sentry-Solutions Tuf Glide for all our folding knives. It provides excellent lubrication and protection.

Important Note: Tuf Glide is not considered a "food-safe" product. Avoid using it on knives that come into contact with food.

Friendly and reliable service

Laguiole Imports: I'm a returning customer from Germany. For me, it would be more economic to order directly from France. Nevertheless, I order from Laguiole Imports, because here I'm able to pick the actual knife that I'm going to receive. In knives with variable scales (talk stag) and variable filework, this is important to me.

Shipping is smooth, even for customers in Germany.

A nice experience with Laguiole Imports: Some time ago I needed a proof of purchase, for insurance purposes. Had colds it on and it had been lost in the mail. I contacted Laguiole Imports, they then promptly sent a copy of the old invoice they had on file.
