This Chateau Laguiole Grand Cru is the latest "2020 version" of the famed waiter-style corkscrew. This model now features a "forged bee"; in other words, the bee is now an integral part of the spring (the decorated top part) instead of being soldered.

The sleek, stylish design of the Grand Cru satisfies the need for a modern and more durable wine opener. This model has the same characteristic as the classic but is more suitable for professional use (20/50 bottles per day). The added strength resides in the massif front top bolster, the part where the screw enters the handle.

Chateau Laguiole waiter-style corkscrew was created in 1993 by Master Sommeliers Guy Vialis and was the first high-end waiter-style Laguiole corkscrew on the market. Since it debuted, the Chateau Laguiole brand has been the favorite among most of the world's best sommeliers and, to this day, is the most sold (and imitated) of all high-end waiter-style Laguiole corkscrews. Lubricate Moving Parts: Periodically apply a few drops of lubricant to all moving parts. This ensures smooth operation and extends the life of your knife.
Hand Wash Only: Always hand wash your pocket knife. After washing, dry it quickly with a soft towel to prevent rust and corrosion.
Recommended Lubricant: We highly recommend using Sentry-Solutions Tuf Glide for all our folding knives. It provides excellent lubrication and protection.

Important Note: Tuf Glide is not considered a "food-safe" product. Avoid using it on knives that come into contact with food.
